Firstly thank you so much to everyone who donated last year. This year I’m back to try and raise even more for this amazing charity who have had another very hard year rehoming and caring for these babies. Please read on and donate if you can...

I am raising funds for an amazing charity which many of you probably haven't heard of. Blind Dog Rescue UK. BDRUK is a small but passionate charity dedicated to the rescue of blind and partially sighted dogs. They save dogs from unnecessary euthanasia in the UK and provide support for owners who need help adjusting to a blind dog in their family. Many European shelters house hundreds of dogs in deplorable conditions due to a lack of infrastructure for animal welfare and rescue. The charity depends on donations to get to these vulnerable dogs quickly. After rescuing a dog the charity provides veterinary care, asseses the dogs for their needs and finds suitable foster and adoptive homes. Here they are given love and affection and a warm bed - possibly the first they will have experienced in their lifetimes.

BDRUK rescued our Rocko from a kill shelter in Romania when she was just a couple of months old. They did an amazing job looking after her and as soon as she was old enough they sent her over here to stay with her lovely foster parents until we found her.
