A7 is the haematology Ward in Rotherham Hospital. This has been my professional home for over 10 yrs now . Our team of multidisciplinary  health professionals look after people with some of the most aggressive cancers such as leukaemia ,lymphoma,myeloma and related disorders. Our patients have to spend prolonged periods in hospital in strict isolation away from home,family and friends as they undergo chemotherapy .I hope to raise funds  to improve their journey  at this challenging time as even small things such as cheerful decor ,music , exercise bikes ( hence the bike ride 😃)  etc.  can have such  a positive impact .

I am even willing to appear in public wearing  lycra and brave a journey to the Big Smoke !
