Gran is the most wonderful woman and will always be here. Although we are heartbroken, it is comforting to hear so many stories from so many people whose lives she changed, whether it was through her work as a GP, her life and family roots on the Isle of Man, her commitment to the church, her friendships, even acquaintances. Everyone who knew Gran felt the kindness and light that she gave to the world. We feel her light still shining now. 

Gran's passing was not covid related, however we would like to note how endlessly thankful we are to all of the carers and medical workers who have been working tirelessly during this time of uncertainty in the world. She lived and breathed and believed in the NHS with all her energies, but the chosen organisation recognises the work of healthcare workers across the world.
