Story
Hailed as the world’s biggest free beach and watersports festival, Paddle Round the Pier runs every year at Hove Lawns and features the very best in water, street and urban sports, live music, kids’ entertainment, 'have a go' opportunities and much more.
As usual, we will be entering the Sunday, July 8 event called ‘Paddle Something Unusual’.
Volunteers have been hard at work building our 'something unusual'/raft, planning for the event and making their costumes!
Each year the raft has a theme. Paddlers' costumes will reflect said theme. This year's theme is... THE AVENGERS!
Paddle Round the Pier is a registered charity and your donations will help support organizations such as The Wave Project (a non-profit organisation in Brighton that works on transforming the lives of vulnerable children) and RNLI (a charity that saved lives at sea).
As Tesco says, 'every little helps'. So, please reward volunteers' hard work by contributing whatever you can!
