I will be taking part in go that extra mile sponsored walk on 11th May 2019 .  I have been living with SLE lupus for 6 years when it all started I was admitted into hospital with a pulmonary embolism, I have endured alot these last few years from renal complications,ministrokes etc. Not alot of people know about Lupus or even care. It is a chronic life threathening illness.  If it wasn't for LUPUS UK and my consultants at st. Thomas and Guy's Hospital I honestly believe I would not be here today I have gone through a lot but I'm still here and I'm a fighter and I will bring awareness to what this disease is all about not because you look well means you are we all have battles we face.
