A Winter Cycling Challenge

The main sailing season is over now in the UK. As the days get shorter, the temperature has dropped and the weather is turning windier and wetter by the day, I thought it would be a great idea to cycle from Bristol to London! 

I certainly won't be wearing my foulies during this 300 KM ride, and I hope I won't be missing them too much! The route will follow the Kennet and Avon cycle way and will then join up with the Thames Valley cycle way into London. We intend to start at the docks in Bristol and finish at the Thames Barrier. 

All money raised will go to the RNLI and will help them to continue saving lives at sea. They are an organisation that Halcyon Yachts have long supported and we hope to help them in any way we can.
