Hello all, thank you to all the sponsors who have donated so generously.

Just to update you on the fundraising.

I completed the half marathon on 16th March. Weather was appalling and the race started an hour later than scheduled due to some flooding and issues with runners actually travelling to the start line.

I ran the first 7 miles within an hour and taking muscle fatigue into account for the second half, I was on par to finish the full 13 miles in approx 2hrs 20 however, at 9 miles, an old ligament injury started playing up, I was bandaged and ended up limping back for the last 4 miles which added an hour onto my target time!

I know that I have set a target of £1000 but please please help me raise even more than this. I am forever grateful to all those who have supported me and the charity so far. Please spread the word about this cause and please forward this website link to your friends and family.

I have decided to fundraise online as it means all donations are accounted for electronically and everyone can see things for themselves. I wanted fundraising to be transparent and safe.
