Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. It's pretty cold with no hair... going to have to borrow Lyra's hat I think! (Not sure she's too keen on our new look!)
Since Lyra's diagnosis with retinoblastoma we have been overwhelmed by the support and prayers of our family and friends, and equally moved by the support offered by Lyra's medical team and cancer charities. Over the last 20 years, the mortality rate for retinoblastoma has plummeted and we want to help Cancer Research in its efforts to achieve similar success in finding ways to combat other childhood cancers and developing kinder treatments for all cancers.
Lyra has been through such horrors in her little life, but she has been so cheerful, so brave and so determined throughout that she has carried us through these hard times and pours out hope and joy with every smile.
