I am Laura and I am 10 years old from Doncaster, South Yorkshire. I love 1 Direction and cycling. On the 13th November I had surgery to remove a brain tumour (Medulloblastoma). I have had radiotherapy and I currently have chemotherapy at Sheffield hospital every 6 weeks for 8 courses.

When I was rushed to Sheffield Children's Hospital in November 14 The Sick Children's Trust gave my parents a room so that they could say at the hospital with me. Without this help Dad would have had to drive home from Sheffield to Doncaster every night (Approx 35 minutes drive) as only one parent can stay overnight.

To thank them for their help and support I am hosting a bake sale and coffee morning called Bake Me Better, which is on 17th February 2015 between 11.00 and 14.00.

We have a bouncy castle, face painting, Elsa from Frozen, raffle, sweet treats, half term fun and games.
