This year my beloved PEN family (aka PEN International) enters its second Centennial after 100 years of celebrating literature and protecting freedom of expression! It is a true pleasure and honor to be part of this important mission.
On the occasion of such an event, and on the initiative of amazing Portia Vanderplank-Jones we are encouraging you to have some fun & help us promote what we do by taking part in our #PEN100challenge!
The rule is simple: make up a challenge you’d like to do and link it to the number "100". Send 100 Christmas postcards to your friends, family members, and colleagues; run 100 km by the end of November; or bake 100 cookies as I did :D Then post about it on social media with the hashtag #PEN100challenge and ask people to support you and PEN's work by donating to PEN International.
On the pics attached you may find exactly 100 cereal cookies I had baked a while ago and had the pleasure to share with some of my friends and family :)
Although I might never want to bake cookies again (JK, hopefully), looking back I should say I really enjoyed the process of making and sharing.
I would really appreciate it if you support my (fulfilled) challenge by donating any amount to PEN!
