Homosexuality is criminalised in over 70 countries and in many others society discriminates against LGBTI people. This means that in many countries LGBTI people are rejected by their families and communities, they drop out of school without qualifications, become homeless, struggle to find employment and to access public services. They live in poverty. Against this background, the MRI Foundation promotes activities that enable LGBTI people to achieve their full potential and have equal access to opportunities in life. #endLGBTIpoverty

We've set out to support the MRI Foundation in honor of the thousands of LGBTI individuals who have experienced, and continue to experience, discrimination and hatred. We are grateful for organizations and foundations such as MRI that look after marginalized communities and focus their resources in bettering the lives of many. For Pride Month, we want to give back to this incredible community through a rolling bake sale, where you can donate in exchange for baked goods or become a ghost cookie donor by opting out of receiving them!
