Barnet Law Service provides advice, casework and representation to the most disadvantaged and the poorest residents of the borough at no charge. Barnet Law Service is a registered charity and is managed on a "not for profit" basis.

Barnet Law Service struggles to help people who are facing denial of welfare benefits, homelessness, discrimination and exploitation, who have been dismissed or are facing redundancy or who have an immigration or asylum appeal and the demand for our services is increasing at a time when the organisations who fund us are having to tighten their belts.

Our hardworking staff and volunteers are working against severe odds to maintain or expand the legal service to meet the demand in the Borough. Our team walked the 2009 London Legal sponsored walk  to raise funds badly needed to maintain these services .
