Story

In May of this year a crowd of us from The Glasgow Walking and Hillwalking Club will be walking all 95 miles of one of Scotland's most well known walking routes, starting in Milngavie and finishing in Fort William. I am looking forward to a number of things from this experience - the exercise, the beautiful scenery, the chance to do this with a great bunch of people, the challenge and the opportunity to raise money for two wonderful charities - Dundonnell Mountain Rescue and The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice, Glasgow.

The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice is one of Glasgow's most well known charities. I am due to begin volunteering duties for the charity in due course and it would feel nice and just to raise funds for such a familiar charity within Glasgow. Dundonnell Mountain Rescue is a charity that I will always feel indebted to, having been rescued by their team on a walking trip in Ullapool last July. These are two well deserving charities, both of which I plan to split raised funds on a 50/50 basis.

I appreciate you visiting my page and will be grateful for anything that you can contribute towards my effort.
