<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.</p> <p>On the <strong>Friday 13th April</strong> at 11.40 Mark Bate from <a title="Bate Brand Graphic Design and Websites" href="http://www.batebrand.com/">Bate Brand Communications</a> will be abseiling 300 feet down the <a title="Spinnaker Tower" href="http://www.spinnakertower.co.uk/">Spinnaker Tower</a>, Portsmouth to raise money for <a title="Ryde Inshore Rescue" href="http://www.rydeinshorerescue.org/index.html">Ryde Inshore Rescue</a>; an Independent Lifeboat station based on the Isle of Wight. On call to HMCG 365 days a year, they operate to inshore lifeboats from their headquarters at Appley. No matter what the emergency they will be there helping to keep you and your family safe.</p> <p>Despite popular belief, Ryde Insure Rescue are not part of the RNLI and do not receive funding from them or the government. They survive solely on donations from the public and fund raising events such as this. All the money raised from Bate Brand's scaling of the Spinnaker Tower will be spent in keeping their craft and auxiliary equipment in tip top condition - ready to assist those in peril at sea.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
