I felt like I needed to start giving back to the world in any way I could, whether that be giving blood, raising money for charity or just helping someone in need.

I've spent most of my life taking so now I'm doing what I can to start giving.

Whilst I don't have a specific story I've chosen Cancer Research UK as we all know multiple people that have been affected by cancer even within my own family. It's one of the most likely causes of death and without constant funding and research, we will never beat it.

I saw others previously do "Brave the Shave" and know a great guy who raised over £3.3k! However I thought shaving my head was pretty boring, once it's shaved I'll just grow it back and wanted to give people a reason to donate multiple times.

So I came up with Beardmania! (I have too much time on my hands)

For anyone that knows me, you'll know I love having facial hair, in fact, I haven't been clean-shaven in almost 2 years.

So I thought why not shave it off piece by piece in different (really crappy looking) ways!

So I've set up a tier system, for every target we hit I will shave my beard in a specific way and will keep it that way for up to a month or until we hit the next tier which I will then change it to the next style.

If we can't hit the next target within a month we'll call it a day and submit the money we raised to that point to Cancer Research UK and I'll finish by shaving it all off.

£5000 Charlie Chaplin (and yes I will dye it black)
