Cutting my hair · 30 April 2013

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Dear Friends and Family,

I have decided to cut off 7 inches (17cms) of my hair to donate to The Little Princess Trust.

They are a charity who will use my hair to make real hair wigs for children suffering from hair loss due to cancer treatment.  I have been wanting to do this for a long time and so have been growing my hair for the last year.

Donating hair is the first step. However, to make just one child's wig, and give it free to a family, costs The Little Princess Trust £350. So please could I ask you to sponsor me to help raise money for them.

Thank you all for your support, any donation will help towards making the lives of these young children just that little bit easier.

Lots of love, and thank you.
