Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My name is Anne-Marie I am fundrasing in memory of my lovely sister Becky.
Becky past away suddenly in her sleep on the 17th January. She had been suffering from bad headaches. We have recently found out it was a epidermoid cyst high in her brain. The chance of it happening is less than 1 million-1. The news devestated everyone the only thing to keep us going is happy memories Becky.
If you ask anyone about Becky they will always have a funny story and tell you about Beckys big smile and loud laugh! Becky was only 22 but fitted a lot into her life. Becky loved all her family and friends. She loved shopping for bargains, going to the cinema, her sex and the city nights out with the girlys and her holidays. Becky was always ready to help anyone so I want to help people in her memory.
The charity im fundrasing for is Brain Tumour UK. In the UK alone 49 people every day receive the devastating and too often life-threatening diagnosis that they have a brain tumour.
Here are some of the ways in which your contribution will make a positive difference to the lives of those affected by a brain tumour.- £60 buys over two hours of a researcher's time
- £15 enables us to answer and follow up more phone calls to our national Helpline
- £30 enables us to host a one hour Phone Pals telephone support group for up to ten patients and carers
- £100 provides a bursary space for a patient and carer at our two-day residential Educational Conference in July
- £24 will ensure that eight patients and carers receive an up-to-date and high quality information booklet on brain tumours
- £10 goes towards maintaining our website as a one-stop information shop.
So please dig deep for Becky and donate now. Thank you xx
