Story

On 12 September 2021, a number of members of the Team from the Begbies Preston office are taking part in Lancashire Women’s charity bike ride from Blackpool to Burnley to raise money for this important local charity.

Lancashire Women provides support to women across Lancashire with their services ranging from mental health & well being to support against domestic violence.

Below is a short statement from the Charity, and we would like to raise as much money as possible in order to help Lancashire Women continue to provide support to the Women of Lancashire.

Covid 19 brought our charity challenges which we were never expecting and the financial loss we had was real. Our usual fundraising events had to be cancelled and we have had to come up with new ideas to raise money in a safe and Covid secure way. With your help, we’ll continue to provide vital individual support for the most vulnerable, and those who fall through the gap and who have been some of the most affected in society by the coronavirus pandemic and who need your help now more than ever.

Further details regarding the charity can be obtained via this website:

We would be incredibly grateful of your support and donations, to give us a push up those hills and keep those pedals spinning.
