My lovely mum and I will participate in the Barry Island 10k run supporting the Believe - Organ Donor Support charity. When I was 17, I was diagnosed with a brutal liver disease called PSC that damaged my liver severely. I underwent liver transplantation surgery when I was 20, which saved my life. There was a time I didn’t know if I would be able to walk again let alone run. But, now three years on, I am fighting fit  again (which is honestly a miracle) and we want to support a charity that does vital work educating people on organ donation and encouraging conversation about it!
