Hellooooo very kind and lovely donators.

It's pretty late in the day I know due to other work/life commitments, however ........I'm running the London Run to the Beat half marathon on 5th October and fundraising for CAFOD http://www.cafod.org.uk/

Nothing is too teeny tiny,  I promise any amount would really be appreciated.  Running doesn't come easily to me, please support my valiant attempts and I will endeavour to do all supporters proud.

CAFOD are a really amazing charity to support, they do loads internationally, providing aid after disaster and support to people living in extreme poverty all over the world.

Key projects at the moment:

The Medical Missionaries of Mary AIDS Education Programme; provides counselling to help adults and children who are affected by HIV or AIDS learn to live with their situation. It also gives training to enable young people to educate their peers about issues surrounding HIV and AIDS.

Peru, educating children;  Action for Life is a CAFOD-funded project in Peru which trains teenage volunteers to use role-plays and discussions to educate their school-mates about HIV and AIDS.

Tackling the Food Crisis in Zimbabwe: CAFOD has worked in Zimbabwe for almost three decades and is currently running an emergency food programme targeting 110,000 of the country’s most vulnerable people.
