The Miles Frost Fund aims to raise £1.5 million to help make genetic testing available to all families affected by the deadly heart condition hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

Story

Thank you for visiting my Just Giving page. I am running the Bath Half Marathon on 13th March in aid of the Miles Frost Fund in association with the British Heart Foundation.

Miles was a very close friend who passed away, at only 31, whilst out for a run in July 2015. He died of a hidden heart condition, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), which was inherited from his father. Research has shown that a family member who has HCM has a 50% chance of passing it onto their children. Therefore, the Frost family have set up the Miles Frost Fund to raise money for the BHF so that genetic testing is available nationwide for immediate family members of those affected.

This won't bring Miles back, but it will hopefully mean that other families and friends won't have to go through what we all have.

So, please give generously and lets ensure that Miles didn't die in vain and his legacy will live on helping others.

Thank you.
