Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our fund-raising page!

Ben and Freddie have decided to take on the old Via Romea - the ancient pilgrimage route used in the Middle Ages from Canterbury to Rome. Most people who attempt to cycle this journey complete the trip in about 25 days... we plan to do it in 20! The route we are planning to follow is available to view as one of the images below.

We are raising money for the Neuroblastoma Children's Cancer Alliance (NCCA), an incredible charity that raises money to help children and their families who are affected by this cruel disease. Neuroblastoma is a rare condition that mostly affects children under the age of 5 but causes approximately 15% of all childhood cancer deaths in the UK. It is thought to be a type of hereditary cancer, spreading quickly and causing many distressing symptoms. Treatment can involve a combination of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and/or surgery and can be very tough on patients and their families.

NCCA provides invaluable support by helping to fund private treatment for children with neuroblastoma in the UK, organising events and support for families and providing resources for research into potential cures. We would really appreciate any contribution you could offer to help us reach our goal of £1500 for this cause!
