Patrick, who was the chairman of The Friends of Greenhill Library from 2014-2018, sadly passed away from Covid-19 in April this year. He was at the forefront of establishing Greenhill as a volunteer run library and his love of books and vision for the library was an inspiration for many.

We're installing a memorial bench on the library lawn in recognition of his contribution (and to provide you with somewhere to sit!). We thought that members of the community may wish to contribute towards this. Any excess we raise over the £500 estimated cost will go towards buying new books for the library
