St Nicholas Hospice Care is a local charity based in West Suffolk and Thetford, serving our community since 1984. As a charity, we believe everyone matters in life and death, and we strive for something better for those facing dying, death and grief.

Story

I'm running the London Marathon on 17 April 2011 to raise money for St Nicholas Hospice Care, a charity that helps people with life shortening illnesses and their friends and families.

The Hospice directly cares for and supports about 320 people at any given time, and relies on generous people like you to do so.

The London Marathon is 26.2 miles. I'll be training several times a week, for hours on end, over a period of six months, and with no guarantee of survival. This an exceptional, inspirational charity and your donation will make a big difference. Thank you!
