Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.I have decided to don my lycra and padded shorts and become intimately aquainted with the wonders of chaffed thighs and vaseline.

I am getting back onto the saddle for the North4North bike ride in the Galil area of northern Israel at the end of October into November. We will cover about 300 miles over 5 days.I did not take part in last years ride, but  the temperature at that time of year was a cool 34 degrees celcius!!!!!

The purpose of this ride is to raise funds for the Bar Yochai secondary school in Meron, a unique project which specialises in helping children with learning disabilities and special needs. The proposal is to assist the school in expanding its robotic laboratory facilities, upgrade tools and equipment more pupils to study this track.The robotic lab enables pupils who may have learning challenges to graduate with real skills for the workplace.

This year we will be again climbing the hills of the north, using nothing more than will power, burning thighs and a not inconsiderable supply of falafel.
