Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
UPDATE
I wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone that has sponsored me. Well I managed the full distance and actually really enjoyed it. Thank you again to the team that took part with me and the great day and worthwhile achievement was topped off by the welcoming committee that came out to support me and welcome me home. Thank you all for your support, your money will be used to fund the pioneering research at Great Ormond Street Hospital and to provide much needed family days across the UK to provide support to sufferers and their families. THANK YOU
Tony a good neighbour of ours and dad to one of Fay's best friends suggested I join him in a bike ride and use the opportunity to raise money for charity! So, we are doing London to Cambridge on Sunday 25th July to raise money for a charity very close to my heart as well as Break Through Breast Cancer.
My daughter Fay is 5 years old and suffers from Congenital Melanocytic Naevi, a rare disfiguring birthmark covering over 65% of her body capacity, which can have added medical complications.
The support group Caring Matters Now does a great deal of work to support others with the condition, their families and also raises a minimum of £35,000 for pioneering research at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
We could really do with your support to help us reach our target for both worthwhile charities (and to get me and Tony over the finish line!!!!).
