Between 2002 -2005 my younger brother Nick and his family worked in Mostar, Bosnia Herzegovina for a charity called Novi Most International. Their work was with young people who had been effected by the civil war in Bosnia in the early 1990's, running programmes which helped to build skills, educate and improve self confidence and bring together ethnic groups.

Today Novi Most International remains committed to continuing a long and slow process of reconciliation and peace building whilst at the same time providing opportunities for young people to improve their own education, self confidence and interaction with their neighbours.

In August Nick and a team of 13 from Coventry will spend two weeks in Mostar running a summer programme of workshops and activities for children and young people across ethnic and social divides.

Your gift will help enable the team to provide this two week programme as part of the ongoing Novi Most long term work.
