Thanks for visiting my Race for Life page. I'm taking part because some of my family and friends have had to deal with cancer.
There has been breast and throat cancer in my family's past, and currently my stepdad is dealing with bladder cancer, while my dad has lung cancer (both appear to be in remission at the minute!)
I've got friends who have had tumours in various parts of the body, and even one with melanoma.

So you see, while I may not have had cancer, I will run for those who have, and for those who may get it in the future. Helping Cancer Research to find treatments, and perhaps one day a cure, is a wonderful cause and I am proud to support it!
