Pen Y Ghent "blindfold" challenge! · 2 November 2015

Every day 250 people in the UK start losing their sight. With your help, we can be there when people need us most, support independent living, create an inclusive society and prevent avoidable sight loss. Every pound you raise will help create a future where sight loss is no longer a barrier.

Story

How difficult would it be to do the things you love - or even simple day to day tasks - if you lost your sight? Many people are born with sight impairment, and many suffer sight impairment through the course of their lives.

On Sat 14 May, I am going to attempt to walk from the village centre of Horton-In-Ribblesdale all the way to the summit of Pen-Y-Ghent (one of the Yorkshire's Three Peaks) - fully blindfolded. I have a small band of trusted Support Walkers who will try and keep me on the straight and narrow - quite literally.

I am trying to raise as much money as possible for the RNIB to help them in the fantastic work they do supporting visually impaired people, their families and communities.

Please be as generous as you can afford in support of this wonderful charity.
