Sam Meekums is raising money for Bliss
Story
In July last year my world changed forever. After a text book pregnancy I couldn't comprehend the fact that my little person had decided to join us nine weeks early weighing a teeny 3lbs, 6oz. Edward spent the first six weeks of his life being cared for in the NICU at Tameside Hospital and (a brief stint) at St Mary's. As Edward focused on growing me and his Dad, Joe tried to get our heads around the shock of his arrival and looked to Bliss to provide us with valuable information and support- this helped smooth the rocky road somewhat!
To celebrate having our lovely, healthy (and increasingly heavy!) little boy at home with us we will complete the Little Lights Walk through Daisy Nook on Sunday 16th Nov at 3pm in support of the fantastic work of Bliss.
THE MORE THE MERRIER!
Anybody is welcome to walk with us, all we ask is that you donate £5 to join in and meet us near the Children's Play area at Daisy Nook Country Park, M35 9WJ. This is by no means an endurance event so is suitable for everyone to participate in (pram and dog friendly!)
