Myself and Blue Monkey Adventures Business Partner Adam Crofts are carrying out 7 mostly unique and slightly wonky challenges over the next 12 months Starting January 2010

Blue Monkey Adventures 12 Month Challenge aka the unlucky 7!

What is Life if you cant have a laugh whilst generating money for good causes? When we first set out on putting our 12 month challenge together we thought we would do lots of stuff that had already done before, then we thought wheres the fun in that!!

Our aim is to raise £25,000 over the next 12 months, all donations are really appreciated regardless of amount and 100% of all donations go directly to Francis House Childrens Hospice who dedicate their time to Caring for Children with a short life expectancy  (http://www.francishouse.org.uk/)  

 

The 12 Month Challenge

Friday 15th January 2010  – Liverpool to Manchester Dray Mans Run

Main Sponsor: Marstons Brewery
Description: Dray Mans run without a horse but carrying a Keg of ale by hand! From Marstons pub in Liverpool to its rightful owner in Manchester
Distance: 34 miles

Thursday 1st April 2010 – Bradford to Manchester Trolley Run
Main Sponsor: Morrisons
Description: Pushing a trolley from Morrisons Head Office (Bradford) to Francis House, Manchester with Easter Eggs for the Children of Francis House
Distance: 36 miles

Friday May 21st 2010 – Northwich to Manchester Cake Bike Ride
Main Sponsors: Roberts Bakery
Description: From the head office of Roberts Bakery in Northwich to Francis House, using an old bakers bike
Distance: 21 miles

Friday 2nd July 2010 –Aerobic ball carrying
Main Sponsors:    Total Fitness
Description: Delivery of Aerobic balls delivered to Francis house by hand from xxxxxx

Friday 20th August – 3 peaks challenge

Friday 1st October 2010 – 529 floor climb in Manchester

Desription:  Climb 23 times up to the Bar on the 23rd floor of the Hilton that’s 529 floors
Distance: Skys the limit

Friday 10th December 2010 – Everest Base camp

Description: Climb to Everest base camp
