The Serco Foundation works with charities to help them realise their ambitions and achieve even more. Through our global initiative, ‘Every Child Everywhere’, and with the help of our employees, we are committed to playing our part in helping to give children the best start in life.

Story

I work for Serco in the Group Chief of Staff team, we have set a target to raise £16,000 for The Serco Foundation by 11 May 2014 - we will be completing various challenges, activities and fundraising events during this time to help us achieve our goal. For my part and this is where you can helpd I am looking at raising at least £400 towards this target.

To kick start our fundraising the first (and probably biggest) event the Chief of Staff team have signed up for is to row 21 miles in the Great River Race on Saturday 7th September 2013 - 20 members of the team split across 2 bell boats, rowing 21 miles from London Docklands to Ham, Surrey, along with 300 other competing crews. The majority of the Chief of Staff team have no rowing experience! Are we mad? Possibly, but it is all for a great cause.
