Tatton Yuletide Yomp · 8 December 2013

East Cheshire Hospice provides essential care, support and compassion to local adults facing life limiting illnesses. We rely on fundraising to pay for over 80% of our daily costs, and so you can be sure your support will make a huge difference to our patients, their families and loved ones.

Story

Some of the team at Boxed Red will be dusting off their trainers and running the Tatton Yuletide Yomp in aid of East Cheshire Hospice. The Yomp is a 10k run in Knutsford's Tatton Park. Although we have a marathon runner in our ranks, the run will be quite the challenge as it is a first for many of us.

East Cheshire Hospice provides free care to help more than 2,000 people each year from across East Cheshire suffering from life limiting illnesses. Providing this level of care for the community comes at a cost, so please help Boxed Red raise as much as we possibly can for such a worthy cause.

We have set ourselves a challenging target of £1539.00. This amount would fund the Sunflower Centre for an entire day, for 20 patients. The Sunflower Centre aims to provide a range of services to anyone whose life has been affected by the diagnosis of a life limiting illness. It provides patients with group sessions so they can meet other patients suffering from similar illnesses, art therapy, complimentary therapies, counseling, family support, hairdressing, lymphoedema, occupational therapy and physiotherapy.

We will be training hard so please donate generously to really spur us on!

Thank you for taking the time to visit the Boxed Red JustGiving page.
