Hello. Thank you for visiting my fund-raising page. I am running the Hackney Half Marathon for Hackney Foodbanks. Our goal is a hunger-free Hackney, where everyone can afford to eat. Publicis Sapient has a long relationship with Hackney and Tower Hamlets, supporting the schools and families in our local community. I am running with 5 other people from Sapient to raise money, and awareness, of the poverty and tough living conditions right on our doorstep.

This is my first half-marathon after a long series on injuries. Over the last 3 years I have torn my Achilles, herniated my L4 spine disc, and damaged my glutes. So this is not just a challenge to raise money. It's a challenge to see if I can even complete such a distance given where my fitness and physical health is right now.
