I'm raising money for APS Support UK, as my aunt has suffered with this disease for a big chunk of her life, and it's been debilitating for her. APS is a disorder of the immune system that causes an increased risk of blood clots, so she's been on some long term nasty drugs. Because it's an autoimmune disease...it's led to some pretty horrible secondary issues that have been getting steadily worse over the past 20 years or so.

My beautiful Aunty Mel is now at a point where she's in chronic pain throughout the day, has extreme fatigue so can't leave the flat easily (unless I dose her up on steroids) and is susceptible to infections. Despite all this, she's one of the most positive people I've ever met. She's so smart and loving, and I so desperately want to do something positive for her in return!

That's why I'm doing this run! I know it's only 10k, but I hate running so that's a reeeeally big deal for me (I chose a professional photo, but it's all a ruse). So anything you can donate to help me reach my target would be massively appreciated. £5, £10, £2,765...whatever you can, it all counts.
