I am the Marketing Director of Widnes Vikings who are a professional Rugby League Club competing in the Betfred Super League.

Our Club and our fans have raised £82,000 for the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation during the past three years. This is a tremendous figure and a significant donation to assist the Foundation to continue the fantastic work that they carry out both nationally and internationally.

It would be great to get this figure up to £100,000, hence why I have set my target figure to a hopeful £18,000. The relentless optimist in me says "Think Big and Dare to Dream"! and even if we do not hit this figure, every penny will genuinely make a difference.

I have never run in my life, and my body could back that up!

I started training for this event in April and set about turning a 5'6", 16 and a half stone frame into something just a little more athletic. I am not there yet - but I will do my best and your support would go a long way!
