I am a serving Fire Fighter with Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service and as my last fundraising event before I retire, I will be trekking through the Sahara Desert to raise as much money as I can towards lung cancer research.

The challenge will take me across the Sahara desert for 6 days in memory of my Fire Fighter colleague and friend, Peter McAdam who raised thousands of pounds for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation over many years. The Foundation is the only charity in the whole of the UK dedicated to defeating lung cancer so please donate as much as you can. Many thanks.
