Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As you may know just over a year ago I had a heart transplant. My Transplant was my seventh major operation following a lifetime of Congenital Heart Disease.
My Donor 'John' was a cyclist and lost his life in an accident whilst out on his bike. I have is name in my helmet and whenever i'm on my bike, i give thanks to him for joining the organ donor register and his family for consenting. Without his heart I don't know if i would have survived until another match came along. He saved my life and has allowed me to experience things i could have only dreamed of.
In his memory and to raise awareness to get people to join the organ donor register I will embark on my biggest challenge to date.. the London to Brighton ride--- 54 miles, this will be the furthest i've done on a bike ever.
Please help us choppers spread the word and raise some cash for Transplant Sport
