My Grandaddy sadly lost his battle against cancer on Friday 8th May. I am taking part in this years Race For Life for two reasons: 1. In memory of my Grandad and 2. Because the last time I saw my cheeky chappy Grandad he told me I had put on a bit of weight, so I think this is the perfect opportunity to loose a few pounds for him 😂 

My Grandad was the bravest and strongest man I know, and all I want to do for the rest of my life is make him proud - starting with this! My Nanny who I sadly never got to meet also died of cancer, at a very young age. 

So this is for you Nanny Eve and Grandaddy Jim! I miss you so much already Grandad, but I am so happy that you are finally at rest and back with Nanny. I hope you and all the other Angels in heaven have a good old laugh at me struggling to run 5k 🙈🙊
