The Colon Challenge 2017 · 14 June 2017 ·

Our charity supports research, education & innovation at St Mark’s, the UK’s national bowel hospital. The projects we support have driven clinical improvements for patients living with complex bowel diseases, and enhanced disease understanding.

Story

Welcome to Buddie and Bryan's St Mark's Colon Cycle Challenge Page.

Some of you may know that a year ago, a very close family member was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. However, thanks to the dedicated, compassionate and excellent care of the surgeons and oncologists at St Mark's Hospital, they made a good recovery from surgery and chemotherapy and are now in remission.

To celebrate their health and support the hard work of all the staff at St Mark's, my dad and I are taking up the 2017 Colon Challenge, a 280 mile ride through the UK countryside. We'll be joining a team of dedicated riders  in trying to raise as much money and awareness for the charity as possible, so that St Mark's can continue it's legacy of high quality care and research, and continue to help save the lives of people with colorectal cancer in the future.

Please contribute anything you might be able to afford, we are extremely appreciative of your support!

Sincerely,

Bryan and Buddie
