24 hour burpee-a-thon
Jon Hall is raising money for Make-A-Wish Foundation UK
Story
From 10am on Friday 24th April to 10am on Saturday 25th we will be doing burpees at The Academy Group Transformation Centre in Macclesfield.
3 of use will do the full 24 hours and various others are joining us for an hour or more (full list at bottom of the page - please donate if you know any of us).
For those that don't know a burpee is where you start from a standing position, squat down and place your hands either side of your feet, jump the feet out to a press up position, jump them back and then stand up.
They are horrible!
We want to raise some serious cash for a worthy cause and feel most people will appreciate how physically hard this will be and will donate accordingly.
There will be some of us doing the full 24 hours and some coming in for hour blocks - either way, whoever or however you know about this, please donate what you can to help put smiles on the faces of some very ill children.
Whilst I work in fitness, this is way, way outside of anything I have ever done - it will be very, very hard.

Note: I'll do as many burpees as possible. Minimum one per minute, but (hopefully) a lot more. 5 minute toilet break per hour. Jon''s target is 5,000 burpees over the 24 hours.
