Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Nearly 9 years ago, I lost my grandmother. She was ill for a long time taking mass amounts of medication. She was coping really well along with my grandfather by her side. 4 weeks before my Grandmother died, her husband, Alex, was hit by a hit and run motorist. He died almost instantly. This shook us all. From that day until her death, we noticed a huge decline in my grandmothers health. She had lost all motivation to go on. She died on the 10th of February, 2004 with her funeral being held on Valentines day the same year. My mother was with her when she died. It was about 4am when mum returned from the hospital. She came into the house, flung her arms around me and said, "Nana's away to live with Grandpa."

I was in a state of shock and disbelief for the best part of a fortnight. I remember asking mum what Nan said before she went on. Mum looked at me, tears in her eye's, and said that her last words were, "I'll see you soon, Alex".

This, in turn made me happy that she knew she was going to be with him.

And I believe she is.

But now round to the reason why I am fundraising: As part of my spare time, I am training at the Premier British Wrestling training school. As part of this, I have become a performer of Insane Championship Wrestling. Earlier in 2012, we held an awards night with a raffle. We raised £50 for MacMillan and I want to continue the fundraising.

But why a weight loss?

Good question. I have been battling weight issue's since I started high school back in 2003. I feel that something I want will help me while I help others. But I can't do it alone. I need everyone looking at this to help me. I need the motivation to say, "Put down that burger, you don't need it", or "Just 5 more minutes on the treadmill."

I will make both my wishes here come true in phases:

Phase one: 23rd May- 4th July (my 21st). This phase will be supporting MacMillan.

Phase two: 11th July- 1st September. This phase will be supporting the Simpson's Memory Box Appeal.

Phase three: 8th September- 15th November. This phase will be supporting Pulse 98.4.

If by then, I haven't reached my target weight, I will be starting the phases over. If I reach my target weight before the 15th of November, I will still have my page open to support the charities.

Please bookmark the page, as I will be updating it with my progress.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Anything you can give, however little it may be, it is greatly appreciated.
