5K a Day for 30 Days · 12 June 2020

NHS Grampian Charity is the official charity of NHS Grampian. We use donations made by generous donors to enhance the services provided by NHS Grampian, and to improve health and wellbeing across Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Moray.

Story

Hello my name is Cameron Troup. I am 13 years old, live in Kintore Aberdeenshire and I am in second year at Kemnay Academy.  I am a patrol leader at 1st Kintore Scouts and a member of the mighty JSK (Jog Scotland Kintore) Endurance Group.

Although I go weekly to JSK, I have never really set myself a running challenge before. I am not yet able to run a marathon but I decided to set myself a huge challenge worthy of your donation. That is why I am attempting to run 100 miles in the next month.

I am doing this challenge because our local NHS heroes deserve to be supported during these tough times. I feel that the frontline staff of the NHS are doing a cracking job taking care of those in need and I want to show them my support by doing this challenge.

I will post my run each day on Strava so you can keep a track of my progress and see that I am running at least 5k every day! https://www.strava.com/athletes/29421748
