End 2 End - John o'Groats to Lands End · 17 June 2009

Amnesty International UK is movement of ordinary people standing up for humanity and human rights. Some of our campaigns includes refugees, climate change, children's rights, women's rights, and conflict-affected countries. When we unite even the smallest acts of humanity make a difference.

Story

John O'Groats to Lands End in just 9 days...  on a bicycle... some say we must be mad!

I like to think we're just a bunch of ludicrous optimists.
It's a challenge- and challenge is good.

Cycling with 3 other rugby playing Slingbacks, and a fabulous support crew there will be no B&B's for us, we'll be camping en route and eating under the stars (and hopefully not being eaten alive by the midges in Scotland). It's going to be tough, but a trip I'm sure we'll never forget.

You can check out our route and follow our progress on our website http://rosslynparkslingbacks.sports.officelive.com/default.aspx

I've chosen to support Amnesty International on this ride because of the important work they do to combat appalling human rights violations across the globe.
