What makes Lechlade and District a community a good place to live? We believe it's about: - - Working together to help out those in need - Raising funds for local good causes - Organising events to make life more enjoyable We do all these at the Lions Club – and we try and make it fun!

Story

A group of local cyclists have committed to ride 100 miles in a single day this summer to raise money for local good causes.

This is the second sponsored ride: in 2021, six cyclists raised almost £2,000 from their ride, which was a fantastic record of their fitness - and the generosity of the local community. The money went to local food banks, local schools, local charities and much more.

But this year, with twice as many riders, they want to raise even more and need your support and sponsorship! All donations will go to the Lechlade and District Lions who will route it directly to Lions' clubs in Poland and Romania who are providing a lifeline to Ukrainian refugees fleeing from the war.
