Story

A Day of Determination: 108 Holes for a Life-Changing Cause

On 1st June, an incredible act of endurance, passion, and community spirit will unfold at Glenrothes Golf Club. Local supporter Michael Cunningham and his cousin Conner are taking on an extraordinary challenge—playing 108 holes of golf in just one day—all in aid of Autism Rocks (Fife).

More Than Just a Game

For most golfers, completing 18 holes is a satisfying achievement. Michael and Conner are taking that commitment and multiplying it by six. That means hours upon hours on the course, unwavering focus, and remarkable physical stamina. Even more impressively, they will be walking the entire distance and carrying their own clubs, making this not just a test of skill, but of true endurance and determination.

This isn’t just about golf—it’s about making a real difference.

Why It Matters

Every swing, every step, and every hole played is in support of a vital cause. All funds raised from this challenge will go directly towards purchasing a new mobile sensory unit for Autism Rocks (Fife).

For the past eight years, the current sensory unit has been a lifeline for many individuals and families, providing a safe, calming, and engaging environment. Unfortunately, after years of dedicated use, it has now reached the end of its lifespan and is no longer functional.

A new mobile sensory unit will allow Autism Rocks (Fife) to continue delivering essential support—bringing sensory experiences directly to those who need them most, across the community.

A Community Effort

Michael and Conners challenge is more than a personal milestone—it’s a call to action. It’s about coming together as a community to support a service that makes a genuine difference in people’s lives every single day.

Whether you’re a golf enthusiast, a supporter of Autism Rocks (Fife), or simply someone who believes in helping others, this is a moment to get behind.

How You Can Help

Final Thoughts

108 holes. One day. One powerful purpose.

Michael Cunningham’s and Conners determination is a reminder of what can be achieved when passion meets purpose. Together, we can turn this incredible effort into something lasting—ensuring that Autism Rocks (Fife) continues to support and uplift the community for years to come.

Let’s rally behind them and make every hole count.
