A major life event such as bereavement could push any of us over the edge. In the words of a client "I am staying at a hostel. I was homeless for 2 1/2 years. My life fell apart after my wife died." Few words but we all see the tragic picture he is painting.

The food bank helps those who have hit rock bottom. While we will help people for up to three months, the average number of parcels any one person needs is just 4. This quote from a client shows just how much it means to receive an emergency food parcel.

"I just wanted to say I'm honestly overwhelmed by the kindness of yourself and your colleagues at the food bank. I truly wasn't expecting you to really cater to the needs due to my mobility and seizures at present. I started welling up at the fact that, even when things are difficult as they are now, the kindness of others really does light the way. You guys are absolutely amazing, please do share this as I'm so happy!"
