Gympanzees 12 Days of Kitmas 6

Campaign by Gympanzees

This Kitmas, we’re showcasing the Matrix Endurance Stepper, a low-impact cardio machine we hope to bring into our future centre. It could help disabled children and young people build stamina, strength and confidence in a supportive environment.

Gympanzees 12 Days of Kitmas · 1 December 2025 to 13 December 2025 ·

Our mission at Gympanzees is to enable every child and young person with a disability to access regular play, exercise and friendship, to improve their physical and mental health and well-being, and to take their families out of isolation.

Story

In our future Gympanzees Centre, a young person may step onto the Matrix Endurance Stepper, a machine designed to be stable, gentle and accessible. With support, they begin a steady, rhythmic step pattern. As the pedals move, stamina and strength build. But more than muscles, they gain confidence, the pride of moving their body, of doing something active and enriching.

For many disabled children and young people, chances to exercise in a way that feels safe and fun are rare. The Stepper could offer a joyful way to grow stronger, boost energy, and discover the power of movement in a place made for them.

When you donate to Gympanzees, through this website or in other ways, you are supporting us to ensure that every disabled child and young person in the UK can enjoy a life filled with exercise, play and friendship.

Our campaigns will highlight specific areas of Gympanzees work, but these are just some of the many ways Gympanzees supports disabled children and young people. Donations will be treated as unrestricted and will be used to fund our work to deliver multiple fully inclusive leisure facilities that are easily accessible for disabled children, young people and their families, cover our Lending Library costs, and help to fund Gympanzees general support and running costs.
