Gympanzees 12 Days of Kitmas 9

Campaign by Gympanzees

This Kitmas, we’re highlighting the Bubble Tube — a sensory, calming feature we hope to bring into our future centre. It could help disabled children and young people experience gentle light, colour and movement, offering calm, focus and sensory joy.

Gympanzees 12 Days of Kitmas · 1 December 2025 to 13 December 2025 ·

Our mission at Gympanzees is to enable every child and young person with a disability to access regular play, exercise and friendship, to improve their physical and mental health and well-being, and to take their families out of isolation.

Story

In our future Gympanzees Centre, a child might sit quietly beside the Bubble Tube, watching soft bubbles rise, lights shift in colour and water hum gently around them. In those gentle rhythms, they find calm, comfort and a moment of peace. For many disabled children and young people, sensory overload or lack of quiet spaces can be overwhelming. The Bubble Tube could offer a soothing sanctuary, a place to regulate, relax, explore sensory play and find calm through colour, sound and movement. It could become a small but powerful space for belonging, comfort and sensory joy.

When you donate to Gympanzees, through this website or in other ways, you are supporting us to ensure that every disabled child and young person in the UK can enjoy a life filled with exercise, play and friendship.

Our campaigns will highlight specific areas of Gympanzees work, but these are just some of the many ways Gympanzees supports disabled children and young people. Donations will be treated as unrestricted and will be used to fund our work to deliver multiple fully inclusive leisure facilities that are easily accessible for disabled children, young people and their families, cover our Lending Library costs, and help to fund Gympanzees general support and running costs.
