Story

Witham Hill Gymnastics Club is a Not-for-Profit Organisation and rely on fundraising to replace and add equipment to our gym.

This years target figure is £30,000 as due to Covid the opportunities for fundraising the last few years has been limited and we are now in need of a big drive to get our gym up to scratch, we’ve listed some of the items below to give you an idea of costs and how much equipment is.

On the 22nd June we are holding a mammoth Sponsored event, the target amount of £7,000 is what we are aiming for.

Gym classes will be running as normal on Saturday and all gymnasts will have a turn to help achieve this massive feat, if they come on a different day or wish to do more then sign up on the Join-in app, your child can do as little or as much as they wish, be it 5 minutes or 5 hours. A tumble is any gymnastic move that travels upside-down from a forward roll to a backward somersault.

There will be prizes for both squad and recreational gymnasts that raise the most sponsors and contribute the most time as well as some spot House Awards too!

All gymnasts (and coaches) who participate will receive a certificate stating their time achieved.

To top off the day our Young Leaders are running stalls and holding a bring an adult to gym, we hope to see as many people taking part as possible and let’s make it a FUN day for all as well.
